Open Meetings Act (Government Code, Chapter 551) provides that meetings of governmental bodies must be open to the public (except for expressly authorized executive sessions) and posted a minimum of 72 hours prior to the meeting.

All regular city council meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
