City Administrator

The City Administrator, as an appointed official of the city, oversees the daily operations of the municipality. Supporting the City Council in developing both long term and short term plans to safeguard the city’s operations run smoothly and meet the needs of its citizens. The City Administrator assists with the preparation of the annual budgets, managing city personnel, and guaranteeing the City Council's goals and objectives are met. Assisting the city council in developing ordinances and policies. The City Administrator is a viable representative of the city and attends various county and state meetings as it relates to the operations of the municipality. The City Administrator serves as one of two financial investment officers for the city.

City Secretary 

The City Secretary, as an appointed official of the city, serves as the Public Information Officer, attends all meetings of the governing body and records accurate minutes of the proceedings. Validates the city is following all local, state, and federal laws, resolutions, and ordinances of the governing body. The City Secretary keeps the corporate seal, countersigns all commissions issued to municipal officers. Prepares notices required of the municipality and preserves all records of the governing body. The City Secretary serves as the general accountant of the municipality and assists in the preparation of the annual budgets. The City Secretary monitors financial records of the municipality's receipts and disbursements, maintaining the records of bonds and bills issued by the municipality and all evidence of debt due and payable to the municipality, keeps all contracts made by the governing body, and performs all other duties required by law, ordinance, resolution, or order of the governing body. The City Secretary also serves as a financial investment officer for the city.
